The Iron Casket.

In the summer of 2007, I met a young Russian man in an Irish pub in Kazakhstan. It was a motley bunch, but the beer reminded me of home. We got to talking, and I learned his name was Ilia, and he was hunting down any evidence he could find of his great grandfather killed in the Great Purge of 1937. And so began one of the greatest investigations of my then young life as I made it my mission to help Ilia reunite his shattered past. Join us on our journey into the Iron Casket.
